The Perry House Foundation, Inc. was formed in 2004 to manage and operate the Perry House, Stratford, CT. But, the story of the Perry House stretches back many years. That story is chronicled on this web site and comes alive when you visit the Perry House. The revitalization of the Perry House is, itself, a story that stretches over the last ten years. Many of the individuals that now serve on the Foundation Board of Directors have been a vital part of that revitalization effort, from the beginning. In saving this historic home, the members believe they have helped provide another asset to Stratford’s rich civic center – a place not only for tourism but also for the use and enjoyment of all our townspeople. In short, the Perry House is seen as the “Doorway to Stratford” – a welcoming portal through which residents and visitors alike may learn how to find and enjoy the unique opportunities awaiting them within the community.
